Shrub 5ft tall, locally common, pappus showy-
white. Growing on a roadside beside a salt marsh
in disturbed gravelly loam, with Ambrosia
artemisiifolia, Artemesia vulgaris, A. annua,
Calystegia sp., Commelina sp., Erechites
hieraciifolia, Eupatorium serotinum, Hibiscus
moscheutos, Lonicera japonica, Mikania
scandens, Panicum virgatum, Phragmites
australis, Polygonum sp., Setaria spp. (weeds) &
Solidago canadensis. Just E. of a bridge over
Army Creek, to the S. side of Rt. 9 (River Road),
about 0.8mi SW of the intersection with
Washington Avenue (Rt. 141). SW of
Dobbinsville & New Castle. New Castle Co.
