Climber to 2.5 m; leaflets mid-green
tinged bluish; bracts and bracteoles
greenish tinged purple; flowers
resupinate; upper (= carinal) calyx lobe
slightly longer than the others; corolla
deep purple; standard with a central
yellow blotch which is white near its
apex.
