CHELAN CO.: In old burn near the top of the
southeast side of Cooper Mt. ca 20 km airline
north of Chelan. T.29 N., R.22 E., Sec. 16.
Elevation 1700-1750 m.

More or less flat-topped shrubs, the vegetative
portion rising to 4-10 dm, above which the
inflorescences uniformly arise. Flowers 4-8
per head. Crushed leaves with a sweet,
camphor-like odor.
