GLASS MOUNTAIN REGION: Indian Meadows, road turnoff on
S side of Hwy 120 along Adobe Creek. (Indian Meadows quad: 37°
54.99'N, 118° 41.824'W; TIN R30E S29, center of sec.). Alt.:
2000m/6560ft.

Perennial creek cutting through fine decomposed pumice soil.
Heavily grazed upland vegetation with Artemesia tridentata,
Chrysothamnus nauseosus. Streamside with Rosa woodsii,

Salix lutea, Distichlis spicata, Senecio hydrophilus, Carex
nebrascensis, Hordeum jubatum, Juncus.

Abundant; dominant shrub in grazed scrub. To 2.5m tall from tall grazed-back
trunk.
