Selva Mediana Subcaducifolia. "Malpais" (old but still rocky lava flow), brushy and partly wooded, disturbed. All surrounding areas with soil are planted to sugar cane and coffee.

Description
Vine. Fruit green, with green pulp, some pecked open on the vines, said not to be eaten by people; some fruits with most of shell intact and all of the insides removed, said to be done by birds. Seeds brown. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
