Habitat
White sand savanna. Grades from drier and recently burned areas to wetter swales and small run on middle with shrub fringe.

Description
Shrub to 2 m. Leaves dark green above, rufous beneath. Inflorescence terminal, paniculate, immature. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
