Habitat
Dense, tall, partly deciduous seasonal forest with Cactaceae, Syagrus coronata, Bombacaceae, Tillandsia, and other terrestrial and epiphytic bromeliads. Many species wilted due to stress.

Description
Trees to 5 m tall, with single trunks to 5 cm DBH and diffusely branched canopy. Several well-spaced individuals in one population. All in bud. Buds dull creamy. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
