Little Sheep Mtn., ca. 27 air mi. N of
Pinedale, center of T39N, R109W, W of
Gypsum Creek and OSES Rd. 102.

Elev. 9500 ft. in subalpine park on S
side of Mtn., shade of old growth spruce,
site nearly level, rich loam with large
rocks, ca. 50% vegetative cover, the
dominants; Geranium viscossimum, Agropyron
pseudorepens, Bromus, Helenium hoopesii,
Thaiictrum occidentale, Epilobium
angustifolium, Lupinus argenteus; also
with Poa nervosa, P. pratensis.

Rays pink-lavender; stems about 12 in a
cl imp.
