Elev. 9500 ft. in subalpine park on S side of Mtn., shade of old growth spruce, site nearly level, rich loam with large rocks, ca. 50% vegetative cover, the dominants; Geranium viscossimum, Agropyron pseudorepens, Bromus, Helenium hoopesii, Thaiictrum occidentale, Epilobium angustifolium, Lupinus argenteus; also with Poa nervosa, P. pratensis.
