Rolls in Karr Canyon; «-facing seep area adjacent to USFS-63
(Sec 9 T16S RUE); plants not overly coaaon; growing in the
seep-areas; plants growing erect fro« the slope; rays blue-bluej
lavender, at 90-degrees fro« the plant-axis; disk florets red-
lavender early, becoiing yellow at anthesis; steas often red-
tinted; elevation 7000 ft.

Associated flora: Pinus edulis, P. ponderosa, Juncus spp.,
Heleniua hoopsei, 6entiana strictiflora, Solidago canadensis,
Cirsiua wrightii, Aster ericoides, A. paealtus, Lobelia
cardinalis, Triglochin aaritiaa, Equisetua, Scirpus, Hedicago
alba, Buercus gaabelii, Typha and nuaerous other herbs
