Unlimited and difficult to determine; sample size: 25. Growing in dry washes; fairly
abundant plant and one of few species successful under extremely arid conditions.
Typical chilense in all respects. Plants in good bloom and fruits of all ages; older fruits
nearly all parasitized by worms. Fruit set rather good.
