Habitat: Chihuahuan desertscrub, calcarious soil, rocky area.
Associated spp: Prosopis velutina, Acacia neovernicosa, Flourensia

thurberi, Aloysia wrightii, Setaria leucopila, Eragrostis lehmanniana,
Ruellia nudiflora.
