Habitat
Montane evergreen forest, canopy 30-40 m; creek with sandstone talus, rich in herbs, soils sandstone and laterite derived. Large trees including Lecythidaceae; rich in epiphytes, lianas, fungi. Infrequent in understory.

Tree. Tree 3 m; fruit pale blue, ovoid, distally acuminate. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
