Description
Tree ca. 20 [m] tall, with stilt-roots up to 1 m high. Trunk with ± scars of the stipules. Leafy twigs 2-3.5 cm in diameter, green. Lamina ca. 30 x 30 - 60 x 60 cm, segments 8-9, incisions down to 6/10 - 7/10. Petiole ca. 25-45 cm long. Stipules 14-20 cm long, orange-red. Female inflorescences solitary or in pairs, pendulous; peduncle 13-19 cm long; spikes 4-5, (3-) 9-17 x (0.5-) 0.7-0.8 cm. Ants present. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
