Low forest to 10 m, 2 stories; sandstone soils, overhangs and cliff edges. Moderate to low epiphyte density, mosses and lichens. Dominants: woody composites, Theaceae, Melastomataceae, Malpighiaceae, Annonaceae, bromeliads.

Shrub. Shrub 2 m; vestiture fuchsia; petals white translucent; filaments white, anthers pink. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
