    Perennial scrambler, root parasite of 4m high on Kirkia wilmsii and Acacia caffra. Simple, glabrous, opposite, bright green leaves with dentate leaf margins. Flowers solitary, large, showy, maroon-purple, zygomorphic. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
