With Populus, Rhamnus betulaefolia var. obovata, Shepherdia rotundifolia, Pinus edulis, Amelanchier, Ephedra, Opuntia, Arctostaphylos patula, Penstemon rostriflorus, Salix exigua, Solidago, Juncus, Typha domingensis, Rhus trilobata, Opuntia polyacantha erinacea, O phaeacantha, Oenothera longissima, Clematis ligusticifolia, Quercus gambelii, Fraxinus anomala, Pachystima. Common clambering vine.
