    Medium to short grass, tuft 15cm high, tough rooted, leaf sheath at culm base, culms slender and purple, 20cm long; inflorescence purple and woolly, 3cm long, spikelets short awns; leaves blue green , silver hairs. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
