Georgia: Savannah, Barbour Lathrop Plant Introduction
Carden (USDA). Cultivated; PI 66786, from Canton, China
(by FAM in 1926). Culms up to 4 ra high and 1.25 cm in
diam. with most of the upper portion solid, making them
topheavy. The young shoots are eaten.
