Michoacan: municipio de Aguililla, along the
southern side of the Rio Tepalcatepec on the road to
El Ancon and Pena Colorada, ca. 0.5 km east of the
Apatzingan-Aguililla road; 19°02’45”N,
102°38’55”W, 260 m. Perennial forming small
clumps; locally common in thin pockets of soil on a
rocky outcrop south of the road; tropical deciduous
forest.
