On north-facing, recently cut-over slope along
intermittent stream flowing east into the Savannah
River. Site #14 (Lat. 34u02l23"; Long. 82°36,50"),
about 1.5 miles north of Russell Dam construction
site on the Savannah. Below the 475-ft. contour
(full pool for proposed Russell Lake; impoundment
of the Savannah River scheduled for mid-1980's).
