Harvard University, Gray Heitarium (CH) PLANTS OF WASHINGTON '/’Mr-US Leymus cinereus (Scribn. & Merr.) A. Love POACEAE Grass forming large clumps to 4ft tall, locally common, leaves & stems blue-green. Growing in an open grassy area in semi-disturbed sandy loam (Cashmont sandy loam, 3-8% slopes; Coarse-loamy, mixed, superactive, mesic Aridic Haploxerolls) with Asclepias speciosa, Asparagus officinalis, Bromus tectorum, Chenopodium album, Commandra umbellata, Lepidium sp., Melilotus alba, Opuntia fragilis (rare), Rhus glabra, Rosa woodsii var. ultramontana & Verbascum thaspus. Along the W. side of Rt. 97, between the road and a railroad track to the west, a few hundred feet north of a small creek & about 4.5mi N. of Ellisforde Bridge Road in Ellisforde. Okanogan River Valley, Okanogan Co. Elev. about 920ft. 48° 51' 29.3"N, 119° 24' 27.5"W. UTM 11 323407E, 5414482N (NAD83/WGS84). Coll. Doug Goldman #3404 22 June 2005
