NEEDLE-AND-THREAD GRASS. Perennial clumps to 3 dm wide.
In unnamed canyon 1.8 mile N 5° E of Antelope Springs,
Deep Springs Valley drainage, T7S R35E S12. Sandy alluv-
ium sloping 5° S in wash, Pinyon-Juniper woodland with
Chrysothamnus. Atriplex, Artemisia. Pinus & Cercocarpus.
Frequent locally, generally ubiquitous below timberline.
