    From rock bases; narrow dry drainage running S-N surrounded by rocky granitic slopes and ridges, ultimately flowing into Black Lake; Pinus monophylla woodland with dry scrub of Cercocarpus ledifolius, Artemisia tridentata, Purshia tridentata, Symphoricarpos rotundifolius, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Ephedra viridis, Leymus cinereus, Ribes cereum, R. velutinum, Achnatherum speciosum, A. hymenoides. Occasional.
