    Deep W-E canyon running parallel to Highway 120, cutting through Bishop tuff thyolite. On rocky slopes of canyon; heavily grazed canyon bottom with dry stream and soft pumice/rhyolite soil; with Pinus monophylla, small P. jeffryi, Salix, Artemisia tridentata, ... Alt.: 2134m/7000ft.
Deep W-E canyon running parallel to Hwy 120, cutting through
Bishop tuff rhyolite. Heavily grazed canyon bottom with dry
stream and soft pumice / rhyolite soil. With Pinus monophylla,
small P. jeffryi, Salix, Artemisia tridentata, Chrysothamnus
viscidiflorus, C. nauseosus, Purshia tridentata, Tetradymia
canescens, Cryptantha confertiflora, Hesperostipa comata.
Occasional on rocky slopes of cyn.
