Top of hill, covered with savanna-like vegetation with many small trees, shrubs, vines and lianas, also Agave and Cactaceae, growing on and among boulders.

Herbaceous, to undershrub, ca. 1m tall, stipules persistent, becoming scarious, flowers yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
