Habitat
Moist gravelly loam. 190 degree aspect, 7% slope, and 1829m (6000 ft). Collected in the vicinity of a rocky seep along the trail to Pearl Lake. Growing with Rudbeckia occidentalis, Delphinium sp., Mertensia sp., and Acontium sp.. The surrounding area is part of a Abies lasiocarpa habitat series burned 75+ years ago and now dominated by mostly montane shrub species. Fifty individuals over a 0.5 ha area.
