crop on the W slop of the Caballo Mts. 6.7
mi. by winding road E of Caballo Dam on the
Rio Grande, elev. 4600 ft., with Quercus
turbinata. Himosa, Foucuieria. Dasylirion,
Palea fornosa, Boutelouas eriopoda. curti-
pendulat hirsuta, on fairly compacted
granitic sand ledges.
