Cloud forest. Dominants Clusia spp. with Bonnettia spp. Also Myrtaceae and Rubiaceae. Common.

Description
Tree 6 m x 8 cm; sap scanty yellow; flowers pendent. Inflorescence rachis dark green, bracts maroon, calyx green, suffused with maroon, corolla white; anthers yellow.
