Semi-deciduous thorn scrub and secondary scrub. Rare.

Description
Shrub to 50 cm; leaflets mid-bluish green, the juveniles tinged purplish red; sepals dark blood-red with a purplish black tinge, petals dark golden-yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
