Arroyo Gochico, ca. 14 km (by air) east of San Bernardo, about half way between Gochico Nuevo and Gochico Viejo; 27°24’20"N, 108°41’30"W, ca. 600 m. Locally common apparently annual grass, forming small clumps in moist, dark, rich soil on a bank next to and slightly above the arroyo; riparian tropical deciduous forest.
