CUSTER CO: BLM land near E end of Spar Canyon in Antelope Flat. R20E TllN S14 center, elev ca 6400', ca 1.5 mi W of Hwy 93 and ca 19 mi S of Challis. Abundant strongly tufted per w/ Phlox muscoides, Artemisia tridentata wyo.,
A. frigida, and Aster scopulorum. Pan narrow, brownish. This species nearly dominant in large areas of flat and appears as a brownish expanse. Also adjacent to large expanses of Carex stenophylla (a yellowish cast to exten -sive patches here).
