sand ridge complex denselty forested with Pinus virginiana and sparse Carya and Quercus, Cladonia rangiferina & Cladonia subtenuis dominant, small relict openings with mixed hardwoods (Acer, Carya, Quercus) and wet ares with Ilex opaca. on rotting wood.
