    Tree 29-60 feet tall; leaves firmly membranaceous, dull green above, paler dull green below; sepals deep wine purplish with salmin brick tips; petals deep yellow with orange veiniing at base or lower half of each; filamnts rich yellow, 3 downwardly arched-curved, the others spreading straight; style pale green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
