    Coal strip mine covering many acres, now capped with a thin layer of soil and revegetated primarily with grasses and Atriplex canescens.

    Small saplings 1-3 meters tall recoonizing mine spoils in a couple of spotsl uncertain if planted or naturally established. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
