United States of America. Utah. Kane Co. East-northeast of Kanab near the crest of Fivemile Mountain ca. 1.07 km south-southwest of the summit (6033).

Habitat
On gentle northeast-facing slope. With Artemisia, Juniperus, Ephedra & Purshia. In rocky (Kaibab Limestone) soil.

Description
Perennials to 60 cm tall; flowering stems arising from elevated, woody caudices; herbage with abundant, dendritic hairs; cauline leaves non-auriculate; petals whitish, to 12 mm long; fruiting pedicels descending to reflexed, not abruptly recurved at base; fruits pendent, to 2.8 mm wide, pubescent throughout; seeds biseriate. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
