UTM 421450/3650200, elev. 6050 feet, along interaitent creek feeding froa north into La Luz Creek, in red, liay soil, with juniper, pinyon, and shrubby aany Quercus turbineila, a fev 0. ajoensis, and a few &. undulata or Q. grísea types on open slopes, Q. gaabelii types in canyon bottoa, the latter dense shrubby trees ca. 5X5 a.
Collection 10649.1 consists of 8 plants (B,E,H,H,P,U,V,H). A coaplex population where identifications are tentatively:
