United States of America. Idaho. Cassia Co. Sawtooth National Forest, Albion Mountains, ca. 9 miles northeast on Basin road from junction with 300 East Road, at Basin-Elba pass.

Habitat
Slight north aspect, exposed, windy subalpine ridge; 6% slope. Found with Poa bulbosa, Erigeron sp?, Arenaria capillaris, Artemisia tridentata var. vaseyana, Penstemon humilus, Linum sp?. Abundant for site. With thin rocky dry soil derived from quartzite.
