Along unpaved road through bottomland of Deal Creek; area somewhat disturbed due to agricultural fields nearby. Site #25 (Lat. 34°10l50"; Long. 82o41'30"), ca. 2.5 miles southwest of town of Lowndesville; ca. 2 miles east of the Savannah River. Below the 475-ft. msl contour (full pool for proposed Russell Lake). Area to be impounded in mid-1980's.
