Partly-mowed upland tallgrass prairie on rocky, NE- and SE-facing slopes above lake. Frequent surfacing limestone. Scattered Juniperus virginiana, Juglans nigra, and Quercus prinoides.
Scattered. Small trees to 5 m high.
