8	Feb. 1985 MEXICO, CHIHUAHUA, 9 mi. SSW of Buenaventura in the Sierra de la Catarina, generally E slope in a canyon, igneous rock, with Quercus emoryi, Dasylirion, Mimosa, cholla, Cercocarpus, prickly pear.
Scrubby trees on rocky slopes to about 2 m tall to larger trees to 6 m tall near canyon bottom, the largest to 10 m tall. Each tuig in this collection from a seperate tree, the two sheets making the collection di fferent.
