MEXICO, DURANGO, Mcpo. Durango, ca. 10 ka S of Ferreria, 15 ka S of Durango, on road to La Flor, open flat ground, with Q. eduardii. Plants possibly showing introgression with Q. chihuahuensisj growing with intergradient plants (11114). Savannah area.
Roundish trees to ca. 5 a tall, trunk 1-1.5 da dia. Branches spreading. 10 plants in collection (A-J).
