Guyana. Tulameng Mtn., eastern slope, along line towards summit (1534 m, N 5°33'28.3", W 60°59'34.7").

Habitat
Wet slope forest dominated by Micrandra glabra and understory of palms. Rich in epiphytes and many gaps present. Common.

Description
Shrub to 1.5 m. Entire plant covered in erect purple trichomes. Ant domatia present, purple. Flowers/fruits axillary. Calyx pink, corolla white, antherse yellow. Fruit a red capsule. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
