BOSQUE DE PINOS Y ENCINOS. Stunted, thin forest of Pinus pseudostrobus, Quercus spp. on rocky lava flow (ca. 2000-4000 years old).
Small tree. Leaves green above, greenish white below, persistently tomentose for some time, then glaucous below.
