Corolla yellow, with 5 darker yellow spots, the filaments yellow, the base of the corolla and the distal parts of filaments are the same color; anthers blue-green. Fruiting calyx terete, with 10 nearly equal ribs.
U.S.A.: FLORIDA: Dade Co., SW side of Miami, weedy, unshaded area about to be developed for residential housing, dense stands of saw-grass with wide bulldozed avenues of bare coral.
