Suriname. "Morro Grande" camp-forest island, 6 km. W. of "Morro Grande" dome; Sipaliwini savanna area on Brazilian frontier.

Habitat
Closed evergreen seasonal forest (gen. high ± 20 m. on gentle till steep sloping hills). Loamy coarse sand locally granitic boulders.

Description
Inforescens parts: whitish; ripe fruits: brown; seeds: do clatter in fruit; Tree 7 m. tall, 5 cm. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
