Multiple-trunked tree, 7 m, largest trunk c. 25 cm diam., bark smoothish,
grey-brown, young branchlets vertically striped, very spiny; leaflets
shiny dark green above, paler below; calyx and corolla yellow-green,
stamen filaments white, anthers cream; apex of extra floral nectaries
reddish when fresh; young mid-green, shiny, older fruits blackish
brown.
Probably cultivated.
