Alt. 535 m. Dry forest on limestone with Miconia spp., Phyllanthus, Charianthus, Lisianthius,
Euphorbia, Oreopanax, Lantana, and Heterotrichum. Locally common shrub ca. 2 m tall. Immature fruits green, tinged slightly with red.
