SAINT JOSEPH PARISH. Morne Raquette Road from coastal highway to Au Piton, 0-5 km east of town. Dry forest, dry ridges over volcanic boulders. 15 deg 26* N, 61 deg 27* W, mostly west-facing slopes. Flowers red, tubular, flared open at apex, waxy-succulent; dry ridge. Infrequent vine to 10 ft long; ca. 3.3 mi E of town.
