Description
Tree 8 m. Male inflorescences at base of leafy shoot; rachis 3 cm wide at base, tapering to 1 cm at apex, densely ferrugineous-scurfy as are fl. axes. Fl. axis 4-7 mm diam.; male calyx brick red with brown at base. Fruit globose, shining, up to 12-13 mm diam. Leaf segments chartaceous, rigid, shining and deep green above, dull green below. Scales brown. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
