ICMBio provides a .kmz file of the extent of the ecological station that may be viewed on Google Earth. Because the locality description specifically states the ecological station along Rio Uraricoera, georeferenced to the beginning of the road which leads from the dock along Rio Uraricoera to the ecological station. Using the reference .kmz file on Google Earth and visual evidence on Google Maps - Satellite View, located the start of the road which leads to the Estação Ecológica de Maracá. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the beginning of the road, along Rio Uraricoera. According to the ICMBio website, the total extent of the ecological station is Ilha Maracá in its entirety; used the Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to find the linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of Rio Uraricoera along the southern portion of Ilha Maracá. Input coordinates, linear extent (65106.5 m), and measurement error (0.5 m) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (according to Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Named Place: Defined Area).

beira do rio, com presenga de Ceiba, Tripla-
ris e Cecropia.
Epífita sobre base de cactus e sobre pedra se
ca na beira do rio. Pedúnculos avermelhadosj
infl. de cor verde. Fohas com tres nervuras
paralelas.
